After 20 years spent working in the mining industry (including superintendent roles in mining operations), our Managing Director decided to purchase an engineering business in Emerald and has been building an expert team with more than 100 years of experience between them since 2018.
Sentinel services all of Central Queensland and beyond. With the main business conveniently located in Emerald, Queensland, Sentinel offers local expert solutions from their Emerald facilities in-house and mobile services across the Central Queensland region.
Our facilities offer 2000m² workshop floor space, overhead cranage, 525T brake press, lathe, milling, plasma cutting, and 1000V power. We also have a modern 800m² blast and paint facility and 26,000m² holding yard that are fully equipped for a range of blast and paint projects.
For all equipment repair and overhauls, our in-house transport service allows for machinery/equipment transport with hassle-free service across Central Queensland for mining equipment fabrication as well as construction, agricultural and transport equipment.

We provide transport services from rigid tilt tray, quad super tilt, heavy machinery transport, oversize, and machinery transport services in Queensland to clients right across Australia. We have extensive experience in transporting a range of equipment and machinery items. Sentinel provides highway heavy haulage and on-site heavy and for mining, earthmoving, infrastructure projects, special haulage and general transport.
We have a comprehensive transport solutions consisting of Tilt trays, Super tilt, Dropdecks, B Double, and Road Train Configurations as well as– Low Loaders for machinery freighting, ensuring we have the equipment and vehicles required to complete each job.
